WALKING THROUGH THE OLIVE TREES AND THE VINEYARDS ENOGASTRONOMY IN LIGURIA 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS 1st DAY: GENOVA You'll arrive in Genova and after a short free time to visit the chief town on your own lunch in a restaurant with the following menu: “Porto Antico” Starter (dried salted cod croquettes, “frisceau”, “panissa” vegetable cakes, thinly sliced octopus with a dressing, Santa Margherita's prawn in batter) Portofino's Lasagnette or Mandilli de Sae with Pesto Sauce “Uccelletto” Veal or Fish fresh in the day in the Ligurian way Home made cake 1 bottle of wine every 4 people – Mineral Water – Espresso After lunch, free time to do one's shopping. Dinner at your expense. Free transfer to the hotel, accommodation in the room, overnight stay. 2nd DAY: THE CINQUE TERRE NATIONAL PARK After breakfast at the hotel, transfer at your expense to “Groppo di Manarola” where you will be visiting the “Cinque Terre Wine Growers' Cooperative”. During the guided tour (about one hour) you will be looking at the different vineyard growing and wine production phases. Tasting of three local wines and of a glass of “Schiacchetrà liqueur”, real enological pearl among the Ligurian wines. You will also be able to taste the renowned Monterosso's Anchovies (food under the protection of Slow Food) . You will then be walking through the vineyards to Manarola, guided visit of the village and walking on to Riomaggiore along the celebrated Lovers' Pathway (Via dell'Amore). Steamer transfer to Vernazza and lunch in a restaurant with the following menu: Seafood Salad or White Anchovies Trenette with Pesto Sauce or Spaghetti with Mussel Sauce Stuffed Mussels or Mixed Fried Fish or BaKed Anchovies Ciambella with Sciacchetrà Liqueur ¼ Wine - ½ Mineral Water – Espresso After lunch, tour of the village. The steamer will then take you to Monterosso and after the tour of the medieval village free transfer to the hotel, accommodation in the room dinner at your expense and overnight stay. 4th DAY: THE WINE ROUTE After breakfast at the hotel, transfer with your own car to “Palvotrisia” for a visit of the Bosoni's wine-producing firm that is famous all over the world for the production of some wines belonging to the “Colli di Luni DOC” (registered designation of origin). You will be visiting the museum, the winery and have a wine tasting ( 4 DOC and IGT wines and 1 liqueur). Length of the visit: about two hours. At the end of the tour, lunch in a restaurant in Lerici with the following menu: “Golfo dei Poeti” Risotto Pennette with Little Lobsters Sauce Grilled Fish with Potatoes Home Soft Ice-Cream ¼ Wine - ½ Mineral Water – Espresso Departure.
